Principles and Functional Features of Electric Heaters

The following principles should be followed during the operation of external components of electric heaters:

1. First, fully understand the temperature requirements of the heater and select the appropriate duct-type electric heater. Generally, the higher the power, the faster the heating, and the shorter the heating time, and vice versa.

2. Electric heaters must not be operated dry, especially immersion-type heating elements, which are typically made of stainless steel 304.

3. Choose the appropriate power for the heating tube, paying attention to the power load while ensuring effective operating temperature.

4. Fully understand the operating environment of the heating tube, whether it is medium conduction or infrared radiation.

5. Fully understand the wiring method of the electric heater, usually star connection or delta connection. A single heating tube can be connected to 220V or 380V, while multiple tubes can be directly connected to 380V.

Functional features of electric heaters:

1. Small size, high power: The heater mainly uses bundled tubular heating elements.

2. Fast thermal response, high temperature control accuracy, and high overall thermal efficiency.

3. High heating temperature: The maximum operating temperature of the heater can reach 850°C.

4. Uniform outlet temperature and high temperature control accuracy.

5. Wide application range and strong adaptability: The heater can be used in explosion-proof or ordinary environments, with explosion-proof ratings up to dⅡB and C, and pressure resistance up to 20MPa.

6. Long life and high reliability: The heater is made of special heating materials, with low surface power load and multiple protections, greatly enhancing safety and lifespan.

7. Fully automatic control: According to requirements, through the heater circuit design, automatic control of parameters such as outlet temperature, flow, and pressure can be achieved, and it can be connected to a computer network.

8. Significant energy-saving effect: Almost 99.99% of the electrical energy is transferred to the heating medium.
