Thermal oil boiler pressure test process introduction:
1Thermal oil boiler pressure test preparation:
After the entire heating system is installed according to standards, perform the pressure test. For liquid-phase thermal oil heaters, test at 1.5 times the working pressure. Do not use water as the test medium (use special cleaning fluid YDJ prepared with 0.5-0.7% sodium hydroxide added into the boiler for pressure testing; after passing the test, rinse clean and then use compressed air to dry the moisture inside the boiler and pipes), because water pressure testing makes it difficult to drain water completely, creating safety hazards. The ambient temperature should be above 5°C during the test. Maintain the test pressure for 20 minutes, then reduce to working pressure and check all connection parts for leaks. If any leaks are found, repair immediately and redo the pressure test.
2.Thermal oil boiler pressure test acceptance criteria:
The pressure test is considered qualified if the following conditions are met:
(1). No leakage traces on the metal walls and welds of pressure-bearing components.
(2). No visible residual deformation after hydraulic test.
3.Thermal oil boiler safety measures and precautions:
(1). During the pressure test, clearly visible isolation signs should be placed around the test area, and unauthorized personnel must not enter.
(2). During the pressure test, the operator must not stand directly in front of flanges.
(3). Personnel not involved in the test must not stop to watch in the test area.
