Usage and Management of Electric Heating Thermal Oil Furnace:
Article 1: Operators of electric heating thermal oil furnaces shall receive training on knowledge of electric heating thermal oil furnaces and be assessed and certified by the local boiler safety supervision agency.
Article 2: The user of the electric heating thermal oil furnace must formulate operating procedures for the electric heating thermal oil furnace. The operating procedures shall include the operating methods and precautions for start-up, operation, shutdown, and emergency shutdown of the electric heating thermal oil furnace. Operators must operate in accordance with the operating procedures.
Article 3: Pipelines within the scope of the electric heating thermal oil furnace shall be insulated, but flange connections should not be covered.
Article 4: During the ignition and pressurization process of the electric heating thermal oil furnace, the exhaust valve on the boiler should be opened multiple times to expel air, water, and mixed vapor of organic heat carrier. For vapor-phase furnaces, when the temperature and pressure of the organic heat carrier correspond, stop exhausting and enter normal operation.
Article 5: Organic heat carriers must be dehydrated before use. Different organic heat carriers should not be mixed. If mixing is necessary, the conditions and requirements for mixing shall be provided by the organic heat carrier manufacturer before mixing.
Article 6: The organic heat carrier in use shall be analyzed annually for residual carbon, acid value, viscosity, and flash point. If two analyses are unqualified or the content of decomposition components of the heat carrier exceeds 10%, the heat carrier shall be replaced or regenerated.
Article 7: The heating surface of the electric heating thermal oil furnace shall be inspected and cleaned regularly, and the inspection and cleaning records shall be kept in the boiler technical archives.
Article 8: After installation or major repair of the electric heating thermal oil furnace, a hydraulic test at 1.5 times the working pressure shall be conducted by the user and the installation or repair unit before putting into operation. For vapor-phase furnaces, an airtightness test shall be conducted in accordance with Article 15. Operation is allowed only after passing the tests. The local boiler safety supervision agency shall send personnel to participate in the hydraulic and airtightness tests.
Article 9: The boiler room shall have effective fire prevention and fire extinguishing measures.
