For many years, domestic wood veneer drying has primarily used steam and infrared radiation as heat transfer carriers. After comparison, electric far-infrared as a heat source has an energy cost 10 times that of coal, making it very expensive. Although coal-fired steam boilers are cheaper than electricity, they have many drawbacks in use, such as excessive heat loss, the need to replenish large amounts of cold water, insufficient energy utilization, and auxiliary equipment (heat exchangers) being susceptible to water corrosion, affecting their service life.
