Thermal Decontaminator Product Description

Horizontal Decontaminator

Working Principle:

According to the degree of automation, decontaminators can be divided into manual decontaminators, automatic decontaminators, and fully automatic backwash decontaminators. The designed decontaminator structure enables online operation and排污 without affecting system operation.

Decontaminator Types:

Manual Decontaminator: Water flows from the inlet into the cylinder, passes through the filter screen, and exits from the outlet. Some dirt adheres to the filter screen, clogging the mesh, while some dirt settles in the discharge chamber due to inertia. The discharge port is manually opened, and the backflow of water flushes the dirt off the filter screen, which is then discharged from the discharge port.

Automatic Decontaminator: During normal operation, water to be treated passes through the filter screen. Fine particles and suspended solids in the water accumulate near the discharge port due to inertia. When the amount of fine impurities and suspended solids intercepted by the filter screen reaches a certain level, i.e., when the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet reaches 0.05-0.07 MPa, the discharge valve automatically opens. The water flow flushes out the impurities adhering to the collection section of the filter.

Fully Automatic Backwash Decontaminator: During normal operation, the flow diverter valve is open, and the filter screen intercepts fine impurities and suspended solids in the water. During backwashing, the flow diverter valve is closed, and the discharge valve opens. Water is forced to flow from the outside of the filter screen to flush the impurities adhering to the mesh, thereby cleaning the filter screen. Due to the closure of the diverter valve, the water velocity increases after passing through the backwash valve, resulting in a good backwash effect.

Vertical Decontaminator

Working Principle: The working principle of the vertical decontaminator is similar to that of the horizontal decontaminator, and it can effectively save floor space during use. Typically, the effective flow area of the filter screen is 2.5 times the cross-sectional area of the inlet. Depending on the working conditions, a hand hole can be provided on the decontaminator body for convenient cleaning.

Cyclone Decontaminator

Working Principle: The cyclone decontaminator uses the principle of centrifugal separation to remove sand. Due to the eccentric installation of the inlet pipe on the cylinder, when water enters through the inlet pipe of the cyclone decontaminator, it first forms a downward swirling flow along the tangential direction of the cylinder. The water swirls downward, and when it reaches the cone section, it turns upward along the cylinder axis and finally exits through the outlet pipe at the top. Impurities, under the influence of inertial centrifugal force and gravity, fall along the cone wall into the conical slag hopper at the bottom. A component at the lower part of the cone prevents impurities from floating upward. When the impurities in the slag hopper accumulate to a certain level, simply opening the manual butterfly valve allows the impurities to flow out of the cyclone decontaminator with the water flow.
