6HP/12Kw Oil Cooler Intercooler Plate Heat Exchanger Evaporative Condenser Refrigeration ECN06B

Brazed plate heat exchanger is an upgrade of gasketed plate heat exchanger. It is composed of front and rear end plates and herringbone corrugated plates. The corrugation angles of adjacent plates are opposite, and the peaks of the corrugations cross each other to form numerous contact points. Through vacuum brazing, the brazing material melts and forms an alloy with the base material, turning each contact point into a brazed joint, which enhances both the strength and heat transfer efficiency of the heat exchanger.

*Widely used in R22, R410A and other HCFC and HFC refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

*Design pressure: 30 or 45 bar

*Test pressure: 45 or 67 bar

*Design temperature: -196~+200°C

Flow Principle

Brazed heat exchangers used in refrigeration follow the basic flow principle: using parallel flow or diagonal flow to achieve the most efficient heat exchange process. In single-pass designs, all connections are located on one side of the heat exchanger, making installation very convenient.

Condenser – Flow Principle

The main components are the same as those of the evaporator. The hot gas refrigerant enters from the upper left of the heat exchanger, begins to condense on the pipe surface until fully condensed, and then undergoes slight subcooling. This process is called "free condensation." In the condenser diagram, light blue and dark blue arrows indicate the brine connection points. The refrigerant flows countercurrently in the opposite pipes and is cooled. Light red and dark red arrows indicate the refrigerant connection points.
