Armored or MI heating cable (mineral insulated heating cable) is a solid body composed of a metal protective tube, armored heating cable mineral insulation (such as magnesium oxide or aluminum oxide), and electric heating elements, compacted through special processes. It features high temperature resistance, pressure resistance, energy saving, impermeability, explosion-proof, safety and reliability, easy installation, high mechanical strength, and long service life. It is widely used in electric power, construction, chemical industry, aerospace, and other industrial and scientific research units, and has been verified internationally for more than forty years.
Armored heating cable is produced by stretching a continuous seamless metal sheath, single or multiple heating wires, and compacted magnesium oxide or aluminum oxide insulation layer through a special process. The overall flexibility allows arbitrary bending.
The armored heating element consists of a middle heating section, two cold ends, connectors, and terminals, making it easy to connect to the power supply. In addition, heaters of different shapes and powers can be processed according to needs.
