How to Accelerate the Thermal Degradation Rate of Electric Heaters

The coking rate of the electric heater is related to the temperature it withstands. At that time, the best electric heater could withstand 400℃.

2. Flow rate

The temperature distribution of the electric heater inside the furnace is uneven. The outlet thermometer only shows the temperature after the electric heater is heated and mixed. The higher the circulation flow rate of the electric heater, the higher the turbulence level, which helps reduce the unevenness of its temperature distribution inside the furnace. Reducing the flow rate will exacerbate the uneven heating of the electric heater, and the thermal degradation rate of the electric heater will accelerate.

1. The drum water level first drops and then rises.

2. The combustion chamber darkens, and no flame is visible through the sight hole.

3. The flame monitor signals a flameout.

4. Steam temperature, steam pressure, and flow rate all decrease, and the furnace outlet flue gas temperature drops.

5. The negative pressure in the combustion chamber suddenly increases(opposite to the flameout phenomenon caused by water wall tube rupture or sudden closure of the induced draft fan damper).

6. The primary and secondary air decrease.
