Why does carbon deposit form on the surface of ceramic heating rods used for heat transfer oil?
There is a reason for carbon deposit on alumina ceramic heating rods for heat transfer oil. Why does carbon deposit form on the surface of heat transfer oil heating rods? The reason is that when the temperature of heat transfer oil is too high, it carbonizes. During operation, the surface temperature of the heating tube is very high, causing localized overheating and forming carbon deposit.
Solutions:
1. Choose a better quality heat transfer oil;
2. Reduce the surface load of the heat transfer oil heating rod;
3. Choose a pump with a higher flow rate as much as possible; a faster flow rate can reduce the possibility of localized high temperature of the heat transfer oil;
4. When the ceramic heater for heat transfer oil stops working, first reduce the temperature to normal temperature to avoid stopping at high temperature. Because at the moment of stopping during high-temperature operation, the surface of the heating tube is still at a high temperature, and the heat transfer oil around the heating tube stops flowing, causing localized overheating of the heat transfer oil on the surface of the heating tube and forming carbon deposit.
