| Air Electric Heater (Duct Type) |
|
I. Introduction to Duct Electric Heater Duct heaters are mainly used for heating air in ducts. Specifications are divided into low temperature, medium temperature, and high temperature three types. Structurally, they share the common feature of using steel plates to support the electric heating tubes to reduce vibration. The junction box is equipped with an over-temperature control device. In terms of control, in addition to over-temperature protection, an interlock device is installed between the fan and the heater to ensure that the heater starts only after the fan starts. A differential pressure device is added before and after the heater to prevent fan failure. The gas pressure heated by the duct heater generally should not exceed 0.3 Kg/cm2. If it needs to exceed the above pressure, please choose circulation electric heater. The maximum heating temperature for low-temperature heaters does not exceed 160°C; for medium-temperature, it does not exceed 260°C; for high-temperature, it does not exceed 500°C. II. Application Fields: Air electric heaters are mainly used to heat the required air flow from the initial temperature to the desired air temperature, up to 650°C. They have been widely used in heating ducts, drying tunnels, drying rooms, and drying equipment, etc. Especially suitable for automatic temperature control and high-flow high-temperature heaters. Air electric heaters have a wide range of applications, can heat any gas, and produce hot air that is dry, non-conductive, non-combustible, non-explosive, non-corrosive, non-polluting, safe and reliable, and the heated space heats up quickly (controllable). III. Technical Features 1. Can heat air to very high temperatures, up to 450°C, while the shell temperature is only about 50°C. 2. High efficiency: up to 0.9 or more. 3. Fast heating and cooling rates, up to 10°C/s, with fast and stable adjustment. There will be no lead or lag in the controlled air temperature, causing temperature control drift, making it very suitable for automatic control. 4. Good mechanical performance: because the heating element is made of special alloy material, under the impact of high-pressure air flow, its mechanical performance and strength are better than any other heating element, which is particularly advantageous for systems and accessory tests that require continuous air heating for long periods. 5. Durable and long-lasting, with a lifespan of up to ten years when strictly following operating procedures. 6. Clean air, beneficial to the environment. 7. Can provide design solutions and customize multiple types of air electric heaters according to actual user needs. IV. Specifications and Models Power range from 2KW to 800KW series.
Usage Instructions:
In terms of control, an interlock device must be added between the fan and the heater to ensure that the heater starts only after the fan starts. After the heater stops working, the fan must continue to run for at least 3 minutes to prevent the heater from overheating and being damaged. In terms of single circuit wiring, it must comply with NEC standards, and the current of each branch circuit must not exceed 48A. The gas pressure heated by the duct heater generally does not exceed 0.3 kg/cm2. If it needs to exceed the above pressure specifications, please choose a circulation heater. The maximum heating temperature for low-temperature heaters does not exceed 160°C; for medium-temperature, it does not exceed 260°C; for high-temperature, it does not exceed 500°C. |
