What is the difference between sheathed thermocouple and ordinary thermocouple

Ordinary thermocouple: A common thermocouple is generally composed of thermoelectrodes, insulating tubes, protective tubes, and junction boxes, whilesheathed thermocouple is a solid combination formed by assembling thermocouple wires, insulating materials, and metal protective tubes together, and then processing them through stretching.thermocouple wires, insulating materials, and metal protective tubes are combined, assembled, and then processed through stretching to form a solid combination.

Sheathed thermocouple: The term "sheathed" in sheathed thermocouple means that the insulating material and metal protective tube are wrapped around the thermocouple wires like armor. The function of the sheath is to protect the thermocouple wires, adding a protective layer outside the thermocouple, such as stainless steel tubes, mesh, etc., to prevent corrosion from acidic, alkaline, and other environments.
