●Working Principle and Features:
Explosion-proof electric heating thermal oil heater (organic heat carrier heater) is a new type of special explosion-proof industrial furnace developed on the basis of absorbing advanced foreign technology. It is safe, energy-saving, efficient, low-pressure, and capable of providing high-temperature heat energy. This furnace uses electricity as the heat source, i.e., the tubular electric heating elements immersed in the thermal oil generate heat when energized. The thermal oil serves as the heat carrier and is forced to circulate by a hot oil circulation pump, transferring heat to one or several heat-using equipment. After the heat is unloaded by the heat-using equipment, the thermal oil returns to the electric heater through the circulation pump to absorb heat again and transfer it to the heat-using equipment. This cycle repeats, achieving continuous heat transfer, ensuring that the heat-using equipment obtains a continuous and stable high-temperature energy source, meeting the process requirements for medium heating.
The thermal oil heater can be controlled by a digital temperature controller with functions such as over-temperature alarm, low oil level alarm, and over-pressure alarm. It also has dry-heating prevention and explosion-proof safety measures. The explosion-proof grade of the explosion-proof heater is ExdIIBT4, ExdIIBT6, ExdIICT6, etc.
Equipment Features:
1. The equipment has a compact structure, small size, light weight, and is easy to install and operate. It produces no pollution during heating and can achieve a higher working temperature at a lower working pressure.
2. High degree of automation, adopting advanced automatic temperature control mode, i.e., the set temperature is fed back to the control system to achieve automatic adjustment of heat load. It combines fuzzy control and self-tuning PID control technology, achieving temperature control accuracy of ±1℃ to ±0.1℃, or even more precise. It can also be networked with a computer for human-machine interaction. The control system can provide signals to the DCS system such as heater running, over-temperature, stop, temperature signals, and interlock status, and can accept automatic and stop operation commands from the DCS. Additionally, reliable safety monitoring devices are added, such as:
① Conventional electrical protection, leakage protection, short-circuit protection, etc.
② Equipped with multiple interlock interfaces for effective monitoring of oil pump, flow, and pressure at any time.
③ An over-temperature alarm system independent of normal temperature control is provided. When conventional temperature control fails due to various reasons, this system can not only alarm in time but also irreversibly shut down the electric heater, ensuring safe operation of the system. It also outputs a contact signal.
